Each year, 10th October marks World Mental Health Day, and in 2024, the focus is on workplace mental health – a theme that couldn’t be more relevant for the animal welfare sector.

For the 13th year running, Petplan and ADCH have teamed up to celebrate the incredible work of animal charities and rehoming centres.

Last week, ADCH Executive Director Rebecca Cooper was invited to meet with some of the Mars Pet Nutrition global senior leadership team at an internal workshop in London.

We are delighted to welcome our newest Full Member, Portsmouth Cats Lost, Found and Rehomed to the ADCH community!

At the end of this year, Peter Laurie will step down as Secretary of ADCH, a role he has held since 2013. Peter initially served on the Management Committee before joining the ADCH Board of Trustees in 2018.

Starting from October a new wellbeing benefit will be available to the staff, volunteers and foster carers of ADCH member organisations.

This November, ADCH members will be heading to the beautiful Brighton seaside for our final ADCH Open Meeting of 2024! Hosted by our members, RSPCA Sussex North & Brighton, this event promises to be a memorable occasion.
