ADCH will be saying farewell to two valued members of its Central Team later this year as Executive Director Rebecca Cooper (Becky) and Membership Services Manager Thérèse Carr prepare to leave the organisation.

After three successful years leading the Association, Becky has decided to move on from ADCH to take up a new opportunity. During her tenure, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening the Association, expanding services and activities for members, improving ADCH’s financial position, and building on the continued success of the annual Conference. Her leadership has helped create a strong platform for the organisation’s future growth and development.

Thérèse will also be leaving ADCH after seven years of dedicated service. A highly valued member of the team, she has made an outstanding contribution to both the Association and its members, bringing an exceptional breadth of skills and expertise to a wide-ranging role. Her commitment has helped ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality services and support across ADCH’s work.

The ADCH Board has expressed its sincere thanks to both Becky and Thérèse for their professionalism, dedication and significant contributions over many years, wishing them every success for the future.

While their departures mark the end of an important chapter, they also come at an exciting time for ADCH. Following a recent strategic review, plans are already underway to recruit a new Executive Director and expand the Central Team, creating additional capacity, clearer areas of responsibility and enhanced support for members.

The Board sees this as an opportunity to build on the strong foundations established by Becky, Thérèse and the wider team, investing in the people, systems and structures needed to support ADCH’s long-term ambitions.

As the Association enters its next phase of development, the Board and Central Team would like to thank members for their continued support and engagement, which remains central to everything ADCH does.
