What a way to mark 40 years of ADCH!

The 2025 Conference has officially wrapped up, and our team is heading home feeling proud, inspired, and full of gratitude. With our biggest attendance to date, a packed programme, and an atmosphere of real energy and connection, this milestone year has truly been one to remember.

As ADCH celebrates its 40th anniversary, Lynne Hall, a trustee at K9focus, shares her reflections on the lasting connections and collaborative spirit she has experienced as an ADCH member.

Last week, our Volunteer Manager, Michelle, had the privilege of visiting RSPCA Cornwall branch, where she had the chance to learn more about the amazing work the team are doing to support the welfare of dogs and cats, and their local community.

We’re excited to welcome Hector’s House Cat Rescue to the ADCH community as our newest Full Member.

Today, ADCH visited members Cheltenham Animal Shelter to support the induction of Michelle Widger, our new Volunteer Manager.

Tuesday, 25th February, saw the All Party Dog Animal Welfare Group (APDAWG) hold its annual meeting in Parliament to discuss the state of UK dog rescue.

We are delighted to announce that Michelle Widger will be joining ADCH as our new Volunteer Manager on Monday, 3rd March.

To celebrate 40 years of ADCH, we invited our members to share their stories, memories, and experiences of ADCH’s impact. Woodlands Animal Sanctuary kindly contributed their story, From Crisis to Community, highlighting their journey and the vital support ADCH has provided along the way.
