Freshfields Animal Rescue were proud to announce significant developments in its mission to care for vulnerable animals.

Earlier this month, ADCH member Causeway Coast Dog Rescue held its second annual conference at Stormont, focusing on “Collaboration” to improve companion animal welfare.

Each year, 10th October marks World Mental Health Day, and in 2024, the focus is on workplace mental health – a theme that couldn’t be more relevant for the animal welfare sector.

For the 13th year running, Petplan and ADCH have teamed up to celebrate the incredible work of animal charities and rehoming centres.

At the end of this year, Peter Laurie will step down as Secretary of ADCH, a role he has held since 2013. Peter initially served on the Management Committee before joining the ADCH Board of Trustees in 2018.

Starting from October a new wellbeing benefit will be available to the staff, volunteers and foster carers of ADCH member organisations.
