Welcome to ADCH’s Newest Member – RSPCA Norwich

We’re excited to welcome RSPCA Norwich to the ADCH community as our newest Full Member.

The RSPCA Norwich Branch is a local, independent Branch of the RSPCA. Their objective is to use all lawful means to prevent cruelty, promote kindness, and alleviate the suffering of animals across the 2,500 square miles they cover in Norfolk and Suffolk.

They are a collective of passionate staff and volunteers managed by a strong and effective Board of Trustees. They exist to help pet owners and local animals through their education and outreach programmes, adoption and rehoming services, financial aid, and reduced-cost microchipping and neutering schemes.

The branch receives no government funding and therefore relies solely on the generosity of their supporters and members of the public to help continue their vital work of rescuing, rehabilitating, rehoming, and ultimately improving the lives of the thousands of animals (and their owners) they assist each year.

When asked about their reason for deciding to apply for ADCH Membership, Chloe Shorten, RSPCA Norwich Head of Animal Welfare, shared:

“We wanted to learn more and share our knowledge to collectively help be the best for our animal companions!”

Following their successful admission to Full Membership, after undergoing an external assessment against our Minimum Welfare and Operational Standards, Chloe added:

“It’s been so amazing to become part of the ADCH! What an achievement to be considered worthy of full membership!

We look forward to any advice to help us be the best for our animals!”

ADCH is thrilled to welcome RSPCA Norwich as a Full Member and encourages everyone in the ADCH community to join us in giving them a warm welcome.
