Welcome to ADCH’s Newest Member – Portsmouth Cats Lost, Found and Rehomed
We are delighted to welcome our newest Full Member, Portsmouth Cats Lost, Found and Rehomed to the ADCH community!
When asked to introduce themselves, Portsmouth Cats Lost, Found and Rehomed shared:
“We are the smallest cat charity on the South coast but we have a BIG heart.
All our volunteers, many whom are of retirement age, give up their time without complaint to help find cats who are lost, scanning those and reuniting them with their owners, sorry family. We also help those who find themselves in a less than fortunate position by helping them to keep their pets who may be the only company they have.
We also support youngsters with work experience and Duke of Edinburgh awards.”
The charity explained that they joined ADCH to benefit from guidance and advice.
On being successfully admitted to ADCH membership, Sarah Bryant said:
“We are excited to have been accepted as part of ADCH.
It gives us the opportunity and reassurance to know that we have a larger organisation to turn to if we need advice but also to know that we are compliant with current legislation.”
ADCH would like to congratulate Portsmouth Cats Lost, Found and Rehomed for passing their recent external assessment and meeting our Minimum Welfare and Operational Standards. We invite the rest of our membership to join us in giving them a warm welcome to the ADCH community!
