We’re excited to welcome Last Chance Animal Rescue to the ADCH community as our newest Full Member.

Last Chance Animal Rescue New Member Welcome

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a registered charity based in Kent, near to Sussex, Surrey, and London.

They rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs, puppies, cats and kittens, taking in locally handed-in pets for whatever reason, good or bad. They also take in Welsh ‘Pound dogs’, saving them from destruction. For many animals, it truly is their last chance.

The charity provides medical care, food, shelter, and love for every animal that come into their care and works hard to find them loving homes. If for any reason things don’t work out, they will always welcome the animal back into their care.

They operate a no-destruction policy, and all their animals are health-checked, inoculated & identi-chipped before they leave their care to go to their new homes, with four weeks free pet insurance included.

When asked about their reason for deciding to apply for ADCH Membership, Manager Jenny Mansfield, shared:

“We decided to apply for ADCH membership as we are very proud of the standards we uphold and are keen to be able to network and be able to make the most of the advice, support and benefits available.”

Following their successful admission to Full Membership, after undergoing an external assessment against our Minimum Welfare and Operational Standards, Jenny added:

“We are very proud to have been admitted to ADCH membership, as we are a small charity that works very hard to take care of, and find suitable homes for all of the animals in our care.

We pride ourselves on high standards of care, so it’s great for this to be recognised by meeting the Minimum Standards required for ADCH membership.

We look forward to being able to network with other rescues and to be able to make use of the fantastic benefits available.”
