New ADCH Volunteer Manager Michelle Widger Welcomed by Cheltenham Animal Shelter

Today, ADCH visited members Cheltenham Animal Shelter to support the induction of Michelle Widger, our new Volunteer Manager.

We’d like to extend our special thanks to Cheltenham Animal Shelter for hosting us and contributing to Michelle’s induction.

During her visit, Michelle met with Rebecca Cooper, Executive Director, and Clare Radlett, Standards and Operations Officer, to learn more about ADCH’s work and goals. She also toured the sanctuary to see firsthand the vital work our members do in caring for animals.

With her background in volunteer support at Wild Futures, Monkey Sanctuary, and her experience as a qualified teacher, Michelle is well-equipped to support and train ADCH volunteers. She also continues to volunteer with animal charities, underscoring her ongoing commitment to animal welfare.

In her role, Michelle will manage recruitment, training, and communication for ADCH volunteers while also developing new roles to support our growing community.

We’re excited to have Michelle on board and look forward to the contributions she will make. A big thank you again to Cheltenham Animal Shelter for their warm welcome and continued support.
