Salary: Up to £21,943.26 per year

Hours: 35 hours per week working, every other weekend initially moving to one weekend in three

Responsibilities of our Receptionist:

  • provide information and assistance to the general public, volunteers and other stakeholders over the telephone, through face to face communication, email and fax
  • receive members of the public and visitors to the centre in a polite, welcoming and professional manner
  • assist the Centre in building positive relationships within the local community
  • provide administrative support to the cat centre on a variety of tasks

About the centre team:

  • Our adoption and homing centres care for thousands of cats each year until they are able to find a loving new home
  • Our team is made up of a Centre Manager, Deputy Centre Manager, Receptionists, Rehoming and Werlfare Assistants and a Volunteer Team Leader

What we’re looking for in our Receptionist:

  • Previous administration or customer service experience
  • A confident communicator with excellent organisational skills.
  • A strong, flexible team player
  • Ability to work on own initiative accuratley and under pressure
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
