We’re seeking an exceptional Operational Partnerships Manager to play a pivotal role in strengthening and expanding our collaborations with key partners.

This is a unique opportunity to navigate complex challenges and drive strategic partnership initiatives that will directly impact the lives of animals.

What a day might look like for you:

As our Operational Partnerships Manager, you will be the go-to person to identify, develop, and improve collaborative opportunities and will act as a trusted advisor to the Operations Directorate, providing expert guidance and support for partnership plans.

A key part of the role will be to forge and maintain strong relationships with external partners, initiating contact and driving collaboration.

We will look to you to streamline partnership processes, conduct audits, and to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will also proactively identify and resolve partnership challenges, ensuring smooth and effective collaboration.

You will champion a partnership centric approach across the organisation, influencing stakeholders and driving positive change.

On a day to day basis, you will:

– Represent the RSPCA at partner meetings.
– Conduct research and site visits to engage with new partners.
– Collaborate with internal teams to build and improve partnership processes.
– Research and implement partnership solutions to meet business needs.
– Conduct partnership audits and ensure governance alignment.
– Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
– Support partnership stakeholders in problem resolution.
– Identify resource needs for partnership agreements.
– Evaluate and monitor active partnerships.

What you’ll bring:

– A proactive and independent thinker with a knack for innovation.
– Highly adaptable and resilient, with a positive attitude.
– An exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
– Experienced in building and managing constructive relationships.
– A results oriented individual with excellent planning and organisational skills.
– A strong influencer and negotiator.
– Possess a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (occasionally overnight).
– Desirable: Animal care/welfare knowledge or understanding.

– A proven ability to resolve complaints and manage reputation.
– Knowledge of legislation impacting operational partnerships.
– Proven success in participating in cross-functional projects.
