ADCH Governance Committee Leadership Update

As part of ADCH’s ongoing commitment to strong governance, effective leadership and succession planning, the Board regularly reviews committee leadership and trustee composition to ensure continuity, experience and fresh perspectives across the organisation.

Following a formal recruitment and appointment process overseen by the Board, we are pleased to confirm that Beth Verrechia has been appointed as the next Chair of the Governance Committee, taking up the role this summer.

Beth currently serves as Director of People & People Services at Blue Cross and has been a valued member of the Governance Committee for the past two years, contributing significant expertise and insight to the committee’s work during that time.

In recognition of the importance of the Governance Committee Chair role, and to support continuity and effective Board oversight, Trustees have agreed to co-opt Beth onto the Board in line with ADCH’s governance arrangements.

Beth will succeed Mike Elliott, who announced earlier this year that he would not be seeking a further term as Trustee following seven years of service to ADCH.

Giles Webber, Chair of ADCH, said:

“I would like to thank Mike for the significant contribution he has made to ADCH during his time as Trustee and Chair of the Governance Committee. His experience, professionalism and commitment have helped strengthen our governance arrangements and support the continued development of the organisation.

I am delighted to welcome Beth into this role. Over the past two years she has already made a valuable contribution as a member of the Governance Committee, and her leadership experience and people expertise will be a tremendous asset to both the committee and the Board.”

Beth and Mike will work together over the coming months to ensure a structured and effective handover ahead of the transition this summer.

We would like to thank Mike for his dedicated service and ongoing support of ADCH, and we look forward to working with Beth as she takes on this important leadership role.
