Virtual Event

About this Event

This is a virtual event, held via zoom, on 14 December 2022 from 11:00 – 11:45 am.

Giggle your way to good health with our Guest Host and Laughter Yoga Leader Agnes.

‘I know well the emotional and physical challenges of animal charity work, having worked years in that field.

I am delighted to help you, ADCH members, enjoy all the health benefits of laughter during an online Laughter Yoga session.

Laughter Yoga is a mind-body technique that combines playful laughter exercises and yoga breathing. It helps boost your wellbeing by reducing stress, strengthening your immune system and keeping your mind positive during challenging times.

The Laughter Yoga session will consist of an introduction of Laughter Yoga, followed by a warm-up, then laughter and breathing exercises, and finally relaxation. There will be some movement involved so best to have a bit of space around you.

No prior yoga experience necessary as no poses involved. Suitable for all levels of fitness.

We laugh, breathe and have fun. It’s as simple as that and it makes us feel good!’

It is recommended that attendees eat only a light meal or a snack at least an hour prior to the starting time of the session (if hungry before the session), and to have a beverage by your side during the session in order to keep hydrated.
