The event provided a chance to receive hand-on assessment training, allowing volunteers to share experiences, improve their understanding of our Minimum Welfare and Operational Standards, and come together to create solutions to support all ADCH Members, from the very smallest to the largest!
The training day, held under clear skies at Woodgreen Pets Charity in Cambridgeshire, was made possible through the support of ADCH Trustee Linda Cantle, who also serves as Director of Operations, and the dedicated team at Woodgreen. Their hospitality and assistance were greatly appreciated by all attendees.
For those unfamiliar with ADCH volunteer Assessors, they play a crucial role in supporting Members to meet and maintain ADCH’s Minimum Welfare and Operational Standards.
This training initiative represents ADCH’s ongoing effort to enhance and diversify training opportunities for our volunteers.
