We’re delighted to share that yesterday ADCH’s Chair, Giles Webber, Executive Director, Rebecca Cooper, and Standards and Operations Officer, Clare Radlett, attended the official launch of The Animal Charity Pharmacy at Battersea – a truly exciting milestone for the sector.
This fantastic new initiative has been developed to help animal welfare organisations by providing a dedicated, cost-effective way to access prescription medications. At a time when managing costs is more important than ever, this service has the potential to make a real difference to our members.
We’re especially pleased to announce that the website is now live and ready for ADCH members to use.
A huge thank you goes to the many ADCH members who have kindly supported the testing phase. Their feedback has been invaluable, and it’s wonderful to hear that many users are already finding the platform intuitive and straightforward when placing orders. Members who haven’t yet signed up can register here.
We expect this service to become a valuable resource for charities, helping to reduce prescription costs. Alongside this, members may also benefit from learning opportunities through Battersea’s Academy programme
To support members in getting started, we’ll be arranging a webinar in the near future to walk through the platform and answer any questions. The session will be recorded, so members will be able to watch it back at a time that suits them.
This is a brilliant step forward for the sector, and we’re so pleased to see it come to life – we can’t wait to see the positive impact it will have for our members and the animals in their care.
