Humane World for Animals UK has £11,250 to donate to ADCH members
We’re thrilled to announce that Humane World for Animals UK has donated £11,250 to ADCH for members to apply for in the form of grant funding.
This is part of a wider donation to ADCH this year, helping to sustain our Minimum Welfare and Operational Standards programme, which delivers assessments and support for both members and applicants. Grants for ADCH members will be allocated to assist those facing short-term financial difficulties, prioritising those who can demonstrate the critical need for their services in the areas they serve. The grants aim to support members in meeting and upholding ADCH Minimum Welfare and Minimum Standards. To qualify, members must have an annual income below £1,000,000. Members can find out more about the grants and eligibility here, applications will be open until 31 August 2025.
The funding will support ADCH’s commitment to advancing animal welfare through the ongoing development and implementation of our Minimum Welfare and Operational Standards. As a standards-based organisation, ADCH’s Minimum Welfare and Operational Standards are the cornerstone of ADCH membership. They are designed to safeguard the wellbeing of animals cared for by rescue and rehoming charities, while being proportionate and achievable for organisations of all sizes. We will continue to use our assessment programme to ensure effective implementation of our Minimum Standards for all ADCH members, and to admit new members to the Association.
Our sincere gratitude goes to Humane World for Animals for their continued support, enabling us to provide meaningful assistance to our members during challenging times.
