Happy International Day of Friendship from ADCH!
Today, we celebrate the incredible bond between humans and their four-legged friends, as well as the friendship and collaboration within the ADCH community and across the wider animal welfare sector.
Many of our members are currently experiencing increased demand for their services due to the rising cost of living, the XL Bully ban, and the lingering impacts of the pandemic. Times are tough, but ADCH aims to support our members through this period by bringing the sector together to troubleshoot, collaborate, and build friendships that can help us navigate these challenges.
Below are some pictures from our annual conference in May this year, where we welcomed over 500 delegates working in the rescue and rehoming sector. It was incredible to see so many organisations coming together to build relationships and share ideas, working together for the benefit of dogs and cats.
If you are a registered charity involved in the rescue and rehoming of cats and dogs in the UK or Ireland and want to make new friends across the sector to get through this difficult time, find out more about becoming an ADCH member here.
