This map shows the areas each of our Regional Groups covers. Members are able to join more than one Regional Group if they would like to. If there is not currently a Regional Group in your area, please consider reaching out to your closest Regional Group as you may be able to attend meetings virtually.

Hi, my name is Lindsay and I’m the ADCH Regional Coordinator for the North West, and I co-manage our networking group called the North West Animal Network. Our group has many rescues, councils, dog wardens, the Greater Manchester Police and other local businesses that come together to discuss ongoing trends and rising issues in the sector. We have quarterly meetings that alternate between virtual and in-person, with the face-to-face meetings being hosted by one of the group members. My name is Ben Wilkes, and I’m the ADCH Regional Coordinator for the North Midlands. Our group was formed in Summer 2025, and we welcome both ADCH member and non-member rescues, as well as local businesses and public services that have an interest in animal welfare. We meet quarterly, alternating between virtual and in-person gatherings. In-person meetings are typically hosted by one of the group members, but it isn’t be compulsory to host ;-). Our names are Charles White and Hayley Heley and we are the Volunteer Regional Co-Coordinators for East England covering counties including Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Our group currently consists of ADCH member rescues and is growing each month. We meet once a month virtually then look to get together quarterly in-person at a different centre which includes a highlight of a tour to see different facilities. Between meetings we communicate via Microsoft Teams chat to ask questions and for support where needed. Hello, I’m Sarah Norbury, Volunteer Regional Coordinator covering the East Midlands. As a Regional Group, we are still in our infancy and would love for more members and non-members to join us from across the East Midlands. We currently meet virtually once a quarter via teams, with a view to building up to an annual in person meeting, hosted by a different member each time. My name is Peter Newcombe and I am the Volunteer Regional Co-Ordinator for the South Midlands Region. We are open to ADCH members and Non Members and meet quarterly. Typically individual members host them Face to Face. The purpose of the meetings is to keep up to date with relevant legislation , knowledge and also share best practice. We also take the opportunity to have a short tour of the host venue. We also have a WhatsApp group to stay in touch between meetings. Sarah and Grace are the ADCH Regional Coordinators for South West England. Both are proudly based at the Blue Cross in Exeter. Our group is open to everyone—members, non-members, and local public services—because working together makes us stronger! We meet quarterly, blending in-person and virtual gatherings to put faces to names, spark meaningful discussions, and tackle key industry topics (all with a side of coffee and cake, of course). My name is Trish Spargo, and I’m the ADCH Regional Coordinator for Yorkshire and Humber. Our group consists of both member and non-member rescues, as well as local businesses and public services. We meet once a month, alternating between virtual and in-person gatherings. In-person meetings are typically hosted by one of the group members, although we occasionally meet at a local coffee shop. Hi, I’m Sakura Anderson, Head of Operational and Food Bank Partnerships at the RSPCA and the Volunteer Regional Co-ordinator for London and Kent. I am hoping we can build a network of ADCH and non-ADCH members, and will hopefully open it up to other relevant organisations. We will meet quarterly and aim for a mixture of in-person and virtual. It will be a chance for us to collaborate and support each other, as well as discuss issues and opportunities in our region. Please reach out if you would like to join.

Hello, my name is Danielle Draper, and I am the ADCH Regional Coordinator for Sussex. Our group consists of several animal welfare charities, both ADCH members and non-members, we meet up once a quarter in person and take it in turns to host the meeting. Hello, we’re Georgie Riley and Kim Davies and we’re the Regional Co-Coordinators of the Wales Regional Group. The Wales Regional group consists of both member and non-member rescues, as well being open to other partners who can influence the welfare of dogs and cats. We meet quarterly, either virtually or in-person gatherings. In-person meetings are typically hosted by one of the group members. Hi my name is Conor O’ Kane and I’m the ADCH Regional Coordinator for Northern Ireland. The group has a variety of members and non-members. We meet in person up to two times per year and have been very well supported in each of the meetings. We general have a variety of topics covered in the agenda and this is decided by the delegates attending ahead of the meeting itself. We try our best to have a fair and balanced group which brings forward networking opportunities, new ways of operating and collaboration. My name is Rachael MacLean, and I’m the ADCH Regional Coordinator for Scotland which I do alongside my day job as Regional Operations Lead for the Scottish SPCA. Our group currently consists of member rescue organisations, and I hope in time this expands to non-members, as well as local businesses and public services. As a newly formed group, we initially plan on meeting quarterly with a mixture of both virtual and in person meetings with a variety of hosts. Good day, it’s Steve Byrne the CEO at the Guernsey SPCA and former ADCH trustee. I am the Volunteer Regional Coordinator for the new Islands Regional Group which covers Jersey, Bailiwick of Guernsey and the Isle of Man. We are starting with the Islands and will be looking at how we can expand the group. We have quarterly meetings planned which will mostly be virtual due to geographic challenges.
