ADCH Volunteer Manager Michelle Visits RSPCA Cornwall Branch

Last week, our Volunteer Manager, Michelle, had the privilege of visiting RSPCA Cornwall branch, where she had the chance to learn more about the amazing work the team are doing to support the welfare of dogs and cats, and their local community.

During her visit, Michelle learnt more about the wide-ranging work of RSPCA Cornwall branch, including their pilot project with Cornwall Mind to support people affected by Noah Syndrome, a complex mental health problem known as animal hoarding disorder.  Michelle also enjoyed a tour of the site where she got to witness the staff and volunteers’ commitment to providing high standards of care to each animal at the centre.

The highlight of Michelle’s visit was spending time with the lovely Lulu, who has been waiting for over 500 days to find her forever family. Lulu loves having a cuddle and a belly rub and is looking for a peaceful home as an only pet as she can be reactive around other dogs and small animals.

Huge thanks to Emily (CEO) for taking the time to meet Michelle and show her around.
