It’s our Birthday – Celebrating 40 Years of ADCH Today!
This Valentines, we proudly celebrate a significant milestone – 40 years of ADCH!
Founded on this very day in 1985 the organisation that is now known as ADCH was born from a vision of collaboration and shared commitment to improving the welfare of dogs and cats.
Over the years, we’ve grown from a small network into a thriving community spanning the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man—supporting and uniting rescue and rehoming organisations in their vital work.
As we mark this special occasion, we reflect on the dedication of our members, partners, volunteers, and supporters who have shaped ADCH’s journey. From driving welfare standards to fostering partnerships and delivering industry-leading conferences, our shared efforts have made a lasting impact on animal welfare and the people that look after them.
This year, our 40th Anniversary celebrations will be centred around our Annual Conference, where we will honour our past, celebrate our present, and look ahead to an even brighter future.
