A Message of Support and Compassion

The heartbreaking news of the three young girls who lost their lives in Southport last week has deeply affected us all. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with their families, loved ones and community as they navigate this time of profound grief. This tragedy serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of compassion, empathy, and unity.

As a community of charities dedicated to the welfare of cats and dogs, we believe that the values of kindness and care extend far beyond the animals we look after. In a time when our country is facing unrest and division, these values are more important than ever in helping us support one another and foster safe, united communities.

In the face of these challenges, we have we have seen incredible acts of kindness and resilience displayed across the country. People from all walks of life have come together to offer help and comfort within their local areas. This outpouring of goodwill is a testament to the strength of our society and reflects the compassion we see daily within the voluntary sector.

We understand that many people and organisations may feel vulnerable during these uncertain times. If you or anyone you know is feeling threatened, please contact the police. Your local authority may also be able to offer further advice and guidance.

As we face the days and weeks ahead, we remain committed to supporting one another. As our members come together, we can find the strength to navigate these challenging times and continue making a positive impact in our local communities.

Thank you to everyone who continues to show kindness and support in these difficult times. Please take care of yourselves and each other.

Stay safe.
