Schnauzerfest is a grant giving charity which supports rescues, fosterers and adopters by paying vet bills.
Every month we pay thousands of pounds of veterinary bills for dogs. As well as paying vet bills, at the heart of Schnauzerfest is a commitment to raising awareness of low welfare dog breeding which includes puppy farming.

Charity Buddy is here to benefit animals and their habitats.
We only work within animal welfare groups and related organisations associated with their habitats. Whether indirectly through our offer of free business and creative support to our animal welfare partners, or directly through our pet rescue service, our sanctuary for older animals, or our rewilding site, which provides an undisturbed habitat for wildlife at our HQ in Surrey, we aim to deliver positive results that improve the lives of animals throughout Britain.

The Rescue Hotel was formed in late 2019 by a small group of volunteers from Cardiff Dogs Home. We could see how much love that was being given to the dogs at the home by the staff but wanted to do our bit to help improve the facilities at the home and provide additional care to those who needed it.
In April 2020, just 6 months after forming as a group we gained status as a registered charity and since then the Rescue Hotel has gone from strength to strength. The Rescue Hotel raises funds to support the hundreds of beautiful dogs who find themselves at Cardiff Dogs Home each year. The funds we raise will be used to provide food, toys, veterinary care, training classes, and any required building improvements.

The charity was founded in 2015 in answer to a pressing need to support our Veterans with PTSD; we are passionate about helping our Armed Forces and Emergency Services and passionate about dogs from rescue… we want to change lives for the better, two at a time!
In 2018 Service Dogs UK won the Soldiering on Award for Animal Partnership and also became full ADI/ADEu Members in October 2021.
We have a team of like-minded people from all walks of life, all with a serious passion for improving the lives of PTSD veterans from the Armed Forces and Emergency Services; whether injured on the front line abroad or at home and for rescue dogs.
We have been very lucky in attracting wonderful sponsors, fantastic dog trainers, fosters, volunteers, fundraisers and others who have joined us in making the difference.
We operate our South Coast Programme in West Sussex which serves Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey along with another Hub based in Somerset and our newest Hub in Essex – all serve surrounding counties.

Porthcawl Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a local charity and all of our funds go towards providing services to care for the welfare of animals in and around the Porthcawl area. The committee, shop staff and fundraisers are all unpaid volunteers.
Since its establishment in 1979, PAWS has helped to rehome hundreds of cats and dogs, fostered dogs, sign posted owners for help, aided in the care of feral animals and assisted thousands of local pet owners with vet’s bills. The society no longer rehomes animals but remains active supporting animals in the area.
