Salary: Up to £24,000 pa depending on experience (FTE)

Hours: 35 per week (including some weekend and bank holiday work), part-time job share would be considered for the right candidates (please specify this in your cover letter and hours tha/days that you're available to work)

We are recruiting a Clinic Receptionist who will share our compassion and commitment for animal welfare to work in our community vet clinic.

Our clinic operates 7-days a week, looking after pets brought in by the public in addition to the animals in our care at the shelter; the clinic is open to the public Monday to Saturday. Our Clinic Receptionist usually works 35 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday between the hours of 8am and 4pm. We offer a caring and supportive team, lots of variety and the opportunity to make a lasting difference to the lives of dogs and cats and pet owners who rely on us.

Generally, you will:

  • Work flexibly to provide excellent customer service in our clinic reception
  • Support the smooth running of our community vet clinic
  • Undertake other administrative tasks

To be successful in this role, you need:

  • A love and passion for dogs and cats
  • Experience working in a busy reception and providing administrative support
  • A professional, friendly, calm and caring manner
  • Ability to work well in a sometimes pressured and emotive environment
