We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with a commitment to customer service to join us as a Receptionist at our thriving National Cat Adoption Centre in Haywards Heath.

You will join us working 35 hours per week on a rota basis (to include 1 in 4 weekends) and in return you will receive a salary of up to £21,099.29 per annum plus excellent benefits.

Hours are 8am-4pm.

Our adoption and homing centres care for thousands of cats each year until they are able to find a loving new home.Our success would not be possible without our dedicated team of employees and volunteers. Dealing with thousands of visitors each month, our centres are the face of Cats Protection and we pride ourselves on our employees providing the very best in animal welfare and customer service.

Responsibilities of our Receptionist:

As a Receptionist, you will provide information and assistance to the general public, volunteers and other stakeholders over the telephone, through face to face communication and via email, as well as providing administrative support to the Centre.

What we’re looking for in our Receptionist:

  • Previous administration or customer service experience
  • A confident communicator with excellent organisational skills.
  • A strong, flexible team player
  • Ability to work on own initiative accuratley and under pressure
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
