PA to Chief Executive

Raystede Centre For Animal Welfare

Location: Based at our Animal Welfare Centre

Salary: £26,481 pro rata per annum

Hours: Part time: Minimum 22.5 hours per week. Days/hours may be planned flexibly by arrangement and in line with work requirements. Attendance at 12 Trustee Board or Committee meetings per year - these are usually held in person from 4pm - 6pm

Contract Type: Permanent Part-time

This is a great time to join the Team at Raystede, a much-loved charity helping injured and unwanted animals in need.

This role supports and works closely with the CEO, liaising extensively between the Trustees, Senior Managers and the CEO to ensure that Board meetings run smoothly and supporting the governance of the charity.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING!

  • Main point of contact for all enquiries, phone calls, emails and requests to the CEO or Trustees
  • Managing CEO diary
  • Managing the calendar of governance meetings, arranging and attending all Board meetings, writing and preparing minutes, distributing all necessary paperwork
  • Organising and supporting internal meetings
  • Supporting the SMT and individual Trustees as necessary
  • Ensure a warm welcome and an excellent experience for all Raystede contacts

  • Are a good people person who enjoys meeting and building relationships with a range of people
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication, with very good attention to detail
  • Demonstrable minute-taking skills
  • Have strong organisational skills and be able to think on your feet
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, an understanding of how to work with confidential information
  • Well organised with sound office skills
  • Enjoy taking responsibility for making things happen
  • Want to make a real, tangible impact
