An ability to work with and communicate with a large variety of teams within the organisation and externally is essential as is the need to be organised and methodical in keeping pet records up to date and compiling statistical data for the service where required.

To be successful you will need;

– Effective oral, written and inter-personal communications skills

– The ability to work professionally in an emotionally demanding environment, applying pragmatism and empathy to difficult situations

– Willingness to acquire new skills and demonstrate knowledge in pet training, behaviour and common health problems

– To be organised and methodical, with the ability to prioritise tasks and activities

– Proven ability to utilise IT software and packages

The starting salary for this position is £19,903 – £22,115 depending on experience.
