SUMMARY:ADCH Fundraisers Forum
DESCRIPTION:About this Event\nThe forum is aimed at ADCH Member fundraisers of all levels and plans to provide fundraisers with a platform to collaborate and share ideas to benefit local animal welfare organisations. \nLisa Harrison\, Fundraising Manager for National Animal Welfare Trust\, will be hosting the September meeting on Monday 18th of September 2023\, 11am-12pm via Zoom. \nForum focus\nWe’re thrilled to announce that Charlotte Fielder\, will be delivering a session on ‘Volunteer recruitment and retention’.  \nCharlotte Fielder was previously Head of Volunteering\, Fostering & Communities for Battersea. She is now an ADCH trustee\, and she champions volunteering in the wider sector. She has built a reputation for leveraging volunteer motivation and embedding person-centred volunteer engagement; and has a proven track record improving the volunteer length of stay and building volunteer bases with high levels of volunteer engagement. \nIn the session\, Charlotte will share insights into: \no Why getting it right for people\, helps us get it right for animals. \no How understanding volunteer motivation will help with recruitment and retention and why person-centred volunteer engagement encourages volunteers to stay longer\, contribute more hours\, take on additional roles and talk positively about your organisation to others outside of your organisation. \no How ADCH members can cultivate a pro-volunteering culture and improve their volunteer engagement by understanding the importance of PURPOSE\, PASSION and AMBITION by those volunteering and working and caring for our animals connects us ALL to the cause. \nFinally\, Charlotte will encourage attendees to examine their current practice and decide what they need to more of and what they need to do less of – so that attendees can improve their cycle of recruitment\, induction and retention. \nThis session will be delivered in first half of the meeting\, with the remainder of the meeting to be for questions\, informal discussion and idea and solution sharing between the forum. \nWho can attend\nThis event is available for ADCH Members. \nCost to attend\nThere is no cost to attend. \nRegistration\nYou will need to pre-register for forum by clicking here. You will receive an email with your meeting link\, please do keep this safe so you can access the meeting.
